In a Nutshell: Launch

It’s interesting the things we learn, discover and experience when we travel; it’s like our brains go into information overload trying to take everything in. Then we get home with people asking about the details of the trip only to find ourselves not being able to really articulate or put into concise words all that you’d want to convey. I have often found myself in this exact position post-trip.

So, for my fellow adventurers and wanderers, I want to share with you my journey through life, enriched by the travels to various corners of the globe. From the vibrant streets of Seoul, Korea, to the ancient ruins of Israel, the awe-inspiring heights of Machu Picchu, the scenic beauty of Florence's hill country, the rhythmic beats of salsa in Mexico, the snowy slopes of Canada, and countless other destinations, my heart has been filled with awe and gratitude. As I reflect on these experiences, I am reminded of how my love for travel and my deep appreciation for the world intertwine, urging me to cherish every moment.

Traveling has bestowed upon me a unique privilege, one that I hold dear while acknowledging that not everyone has the same opportunities. Through my experiences, I am reminded of the immense value of cherishing each moment, savoring every encounter, and cultivating a deep appreciation for the diverse cultures, histories, and natural wonders that encompass our planet. With this understanding, I strive to encourage fellow travelers to embrace their own journeys and never to not squander the privilege of exploration.

I have decided to launch a new series, “in a nutshell”, as a way to 1) share with you a summarized version of what I have learned and discovered while traveling, 2) create a small piece of content full of information, should you decide to travel to that particular part of the world and 3) on a more personal level, to catalog my trips as I go (because heaven knows my memory fails me every now and then). The topics I discuss here will encapsulate and summarize some of the most commonly asked questions I am asked whenever I return from my travels. For whatever the reason, I hope that this series aids you in your planning and what to expect before you depart on your new adventure. So, fasten your seat belts as we delve into tales of wanderlust and the transformative power of travel.
